(B) For any purpose for which a board of township trustees, a joint police district board, a township fire district, a joint fire district, a joint ambulance district, or a fire and ambulance district is authorized to acquire real or personal property, that board may enter into a lease-purchase agreement in accordance with this section to acquire the property. (D) The board of township trustees may cause the removal or may employ the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove a junk motor vehicle under this section. (A) In each township or fire district that has a fire department, the head of the department shall be a fire chief, appointed by the board of township trustees, except that, in a joint fire district, the fire chief shall be appointed by the board of fire district trustees. On the first day of July of the year following the adoption of the resolution or ordinance of withdrawal, the withdrawing municipal corporation or the portion thereof ceases to be a part of the district, and the power of the fire district to levy a tax upon taxable property in the withdrawing municipal corporation or the portion thereof terminates, except that the fire district shall continue to levy and collect taxes for the payment of indebtedness within the territory of the fire district as it was composed at the time the indebtedness was incurred. The applicant shall include with the application evidence of at least three bids solicited and received by the applicant and an affidavit stating that the purchaser of the lot or parcel at the foreclosure, forfeiture, or nonproductive land sale was not the owner of record of the property immediately prior to the judgment of foreclosure or forfeiture or a member of the class of parties connected to that owner specified in this division. If the office of trustee is held by more than one person during any calendar year, each person holding the office shall receive payments for only those months, and any fractions of those months, during which the person holds the office. (C) No person shall violate any building regulation the board adopts under division (A) of section 505.75 of the Revised Code.
